Overview

The "open truck" was initiated as a subproject of the overall project "münster.land.leben" by the University of Applied Sciences Münster. The intent is about the advancement of health skills in the rural area of the Münsterland, Germany. Since a truck trailer should be used for a mobile exhibition, an exhibition concept for nutrition was developed by master students of the Münster School of Design.

Bachelor students of the Münster School of Design supported in the conception of interactive media for use in the exhibiton. As one of the three areas pantry, kitchen and dining room, my group worked on an interactive dining table. Illustrations by Carla Wiedemann and Anthea Engelhardt.

Interactive Concept

Paper prototype

Our conception phase ended with checking whether our concept works in terms of interactions and we have thought everything through. For this we created a paper prototype. On the basis of this, we were able to make our concept comprehensible for other project participants.

Phase Design Solution

Design Manual

For technical implementation of our developed concept, our project participation ended with the summary in the form of a design manual. This should serve as an orientation for implementing designers and developers and convey the design guidelines as well as the general application process.
